Yale Center for Business and the Environment (CBEY) 2050 Fellows

Deadline for all, Tuesday, September 2.

CBEY is offering exciting opportunities for monthly discussions on a range of business/environment topics. Don’t miss out!

From the CBEY TEAM:

CBEY 2050 Fellows

Applications are open for the next cohort of 2050 Fellows, a monthly discussion group bringing together participants from across the graduate schools.

In this multidisciplinary forum, the 2050 Fellows come together in a monthly discussion circle to imagine a regenerative, resilient society and explore how business, government, and civil society can make that possible. We gather to build community—and have the kind of meaningful and generative conversations that transform our work, our lives, and our world. 2050 Fellows is supported by CBEY and convened by Patagonia Director of Philosophy and CBEY Resident Fellow Vincent Stanley.

Moving the Needle: An Exploration of Sustainable Fashion

Have you ever wondered about the connection between coral reefs and jeans? Or if H&M is more eco-friendly than Chanel? And just what are the environmental and social consequences of the fashion industry, and how did the industry that makes the clothes we wear become the second most polluting industry in the world?  This Fall, CBEY is offering Yale students a monthly discussion group as part of our Moving the Needle Series, led by Dr. Meital Peleg Mizrachi and featuring stakeholders from the sustainable fashion community.
