YSEinDC, our annual trip to Washington D.C.,  provides students an unparalleled opportunity to network with alumni and employers in the densest YSE alum region in the world. Kathy Douglas and Joey Gallo will be leading the event in February 2026 with support from the CPD team.

Students are expected to arrange individual transportation and accommodations.

All current students are invited to attend this two day event which includes:

• Pre-arranged visits to selected employer sites
• Alumni/Student networking breakfast with speed networking and time for informal networking with DC-based alumni from a range of fields and sectors
• Alumni career panels
• Independently student arranged meetings with alumni
• Travel support fund for students with financial hardship

CPD will arrange site visits, host the networking breakfast and career panels, and provide breakfast on Friday, February 20th.
