Mission
The Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) seeks to empower Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) youth by increasing access to public service opportunities and building a strong AANHPI public service pipeline.
Vision
CAPAL envisions a future with equitable AANHPI representation throughout all levels of government and public service.
From the website: CAPAL organizes regular professional development programming throughout the year in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Events are open to professionals from all sectors who have an interest in public service and/or the Asian Pacific American community. These events generally occur on a monthly basis and include networking mixers, speaker panels, and roundtable discussions.
